The Minister for Planning referred draft Cardinia Planning Scheme Amendment C274card, unresolved submissions and other supporting documents relating to the Officer South Employment Precinct Structure Plan to the VPA Projects Standing Advisory Committee on 19 December 2023.

The Officer South Employment precinct is located approximately 45km southeast of Melbourne’s central business district within the municipality of Cardinia. The precinct covers an area of approximately 1,069 hectares, bound by Cardinia Creek to the west, the Princes Freeway to the north, Lower Gum Scrub Creek to the east and the Urban Growth Boundary to the south.

The draft amendment seeks to implement the Officer South Employment Precinct Structure Plan and Supplementary Infrastructure Contributions Plan. More information about the project can be found on the Victorian Planning Authority website.
