Overview
The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) referred draft Greater Shepparton Planning Scheme Amendment C117gshe, all submissions and other supporting documents to the VPA Projects Standing Advisory Committee on 18 June 2024.
Draft Greater Shepparton Planning Scheme Amendment C117gshe proposes to implement the Shepparton South East Precinct Structure Plan and Shepparton South East Development Contributions Plan to guide growth in the area over the next 20 to 30 years. The Amendment will enable delivery of approximately 2,500 new dwellings for around 6,000 local residents and associated services and infrastructure including roads, parks and community facilities.

The Committee held a public hearing for this matter over 10 days between Tuesday 20 August and Wednesday 4 September 2024. The hearing has now closed and the Committee will not accept any further submissions.
The Committee will now prepare a report for the VPA and Minister for Planning.
