Overview
The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) referred draft Hume Planning Scheme Amendment C273hume, select submissions and other supporting documents to the VPA Projects Standing Advisory Committee on 9 October 2024.
Draft Hume Planning Scheme Amendment C273hume proposes to implement the Greenvale North (Part 2) Precinct Structure Plan to guide growth in the area over the next 10 years. Greenvale North (Part 2) is a 33ha precinct, 23km northwest of the Melbourne CBD. It is located directly north of the Greenvale North Reservoir, west of Aitken Boulevard, and east of Mickleham Road. The Precinct Structure Plan plans for 366 homes to support a new community of around 1,139 residents.

Matter withdrawn
The Committee held a Directions Hearing online on 7 November 2024.
On 21 March 2025 the VPA wrote to the Committee formally withdrawing referral of the Greenvale North (Part 2) Precinct Structure Plan to the VPA Projects Standing Advisory Committee.
The VPA confirmed that all issues referred for consideration have been resolved directly with submitters. The VPA no longer requires the Committee to prepare a report.
