Overview

On 8 May 2023, the Minister for Planning referred Darebin draft planning scheme amendment C2111 and draft planning permit PA2201860 to the Priority Projects Standing Advisory Committee.

The amendment seeks to rezone land at 47 and 49 Showers Street and to make the Minister for Planning the responsible authority for administering planning permit PA2202860.

Draft Planning Permit PA2201860 proposes the use and development of the land for a mixed-use development across four buildings comprising 480 dwellings, supermarket, retail space, office space, food and drink premises, alteration to access to a road in Transport Zone 2 and reduction to the onsite car parking requirement.
