Overview

On 25 April 2023 the Minister for Planning referred Colac Otway draft planning scheme amendment C123cola to the Priority Projects Standing Advisory Committee.

The amendment seeks to rezone land Irrewillipe Road, Sinclair Street, Spring Street, Harris Road, and Hart Street in Elliminyt to facilitate future redevelopment for predominantly residential purposes.

Included in the draft amendment is a proposal to rezone the subject land from Rural Living Zone to Neighbourhood Residential Zone and apply a Development Plan Overlay and Environmental Audit Overlay to a portion of the land.

The public hearing will commence at 1.30pm on Thursday, 22 June 2023 and be held both in person at the Colac Otway Performing Arts & Cultural Centre (COPACC) and online by video conference.
